.The Badger cubs will be getting a bit of a handful and the nursery sets a bit smelly, so time to move on. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY BADGERS.
Piles of bedding spotted all over the place. This quite deep in the woods. It's been dragged in from near bye fields, no less than 100 feet away!
No wonder some people suffer from HAY FEVER. Ash flowers.
Frosty edges on these leaves, chilly.
Saw this blancmange style fungus, the size a golf ball. It was on the base of a tree. Will confirm tree type another day. I put the dent in it with a stick. Wow its seriously soft. A white brain. Weird.
Almost time to go on a Bluebell walk. We'll give it a week to get the best BLUE on the planet.
Not seen on our morning walk, but in a customers' garden, near Nympsfield Road . Always plenty up here, especially if, like these folk, you have a compost bin, which is where this beauty was dozing. It's a Slow-Worm, by the way.
