March walk

This is an old entry that, for reasons long forgotten,  has languished in 'drafts' for a month or so!

Went for a walk with MeWally this morning.Well, I've got to make sure he gets there! 

It was well muddy, so I tucked my jeans into my boots. I wish I'd worn better socks, these are a bit garish. I took my jeans out of my socks as soon as I hit civilization. 

Saw a few really interesting things.

A few dead stalks were catching the light. They've  stood all winter, through all that rain and snow.

It was such a clear, blue day, I had to take a piccy to celebrate. 

Butterbur   up and in bloom. A strangely lovely plant. It looks like it's from Mars..

Firsts Violet, Bluebell and Wood Anemone.

Mares Tails, weirdest of UK pants.....in my opinion.

Wild Onion? Quite beautiful. It's bulblet are at the top like Egyptian Onions.
