Amazing how things move on in a couple of days; 24 hours even. MeWally and I wandered along our usual patch again this morning.
And here are the highlights ....
There was the sheerest dusting of frost dappling this tiny daisy.
The crisp light making this sleeping beech tree look proper 'ansom.
Sycamore leaves.
The Devils bracts on the Hornbeam.
One day I'll come to this part of the wood when the sun is on it.
Then, maybe this carving will come to life.
Ladies Smock?? Old Timers disease!
I know I've already shown Blackthorn, but this is such a good year for it. Soon be time to make Sloe Gin again.
Peacock Butterfly. Quite a few around today.
Got home to find this Starling on the fat feeder. It's nesting in the eves of the neighbours place.
