Brittany in France - not Spears - and a few natural things caught my eye.
Probably SHAG gathered on this rock. To me the epitome of sea kayaking in the UK. We don't usually see them from the shore here in the UK, so this was a real treat, not just for me, but also for dad who can't get out in a little boat.
This LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL (Larus fuscus) sat and posed for me, it was so used to people that it was as cool as cucumber and very handsome.
About 20 minutes outside BREST a Herring (bait) ball (click here to see what I mean) style of STARLINGS startled dad and me by almost hitting the car. We both gasped and I pulled over so we could watch them zoom about. They zipped away making shapes in the sky.
Heading back through BREST we were bombarded for the second time,
by a flock of STARLINGS,
only this flock was MASSIVE.
ONE OF NATURES MIRACLES.
