The pots were brimming with more than flowers today.
A fine, yet sturdy and surprisingly elastic, streamer of slime had drizzled from the rim of this large planter.
If you look closely, you can see that it has a hawser look to it, rather like twine.
It felt very slippery, rather than sticky and was present along the underside of the pot.
I reckon it's the ropey love making of LEOPARD SLUGS, but will ask
AYDIN ÖRSTAN atSNAIL'S TALES
for his opinion.
Not sure if that's leftover slime from a pair of mating Limax. I remember reading that they eat their own slime afterwards. So what you found may belong to another species.
